The High Hats have marched in the annual Adolphus Children’s Christmas parade for multiple years in the past. Here, they march as Gingerbread Women.

TheHigh Hats will participate in the 28th Annual Adolphus Children’s Christmas Parade in Dallas Saturday morning. The Parade will air on WFAA at 10:00AM. The High Hats have participated in the parade for multiple years closing the parade with Santa.

“I am always excited for this parade because it has a great meaning to all those who are in Dallas,” said High Hat director Kristi Beaty.

This year instead of marching with Santa, the High Hats will begin the parade in a opening routine along with other drill teams in Dallas.

“The routine is cool,” senior Lieutenant Kayla Owens said. “The choreography is a little difficult but I think we are going to do great.”

Out of the many costumes, this year’s the High Hats are going to be Mrs. Claus.

“In previous years we have been elves, toy soldiers, and gingerbread women,” Beaty said.
