The Dallas Morning News High School Sports Day is conducting a poll to see who the top girls basketball player of the year should be.  Ciera Johnson is one of the nominees. Here is just a few brief things about her.

She was selected as a McDonald’s All-American. The 6’4′ senior led Duncanville to a 39-0 record and the Class 6A state title. The Louisville signee averaged 15.3 points and 8.8 rebounds in the regular season. She had 32 points and 11 rebounds in the state semifinals and eight points and 14 rebounds in the state final. She is the nation’s No. 15 recruit in her class.
