Three years after the release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, we will finally be getting a big Pokémon main game. These will go by the Names Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

While the games are set to release on Nov.18, 2016, there has been tons of news regarding the games since the original Announcement on Feb. 26, 2016. This news has not been spotty either, there has been news every month since then, and even a month before the game we were getting news with the final day for news being Oct. 27, 2016. Just before that will be the biggest day since the announcement on Oct. 18, 2016 we will be receiving a very special demo version, and in the special demo version we will be receiving a special Pokémon with a special ability. The X and Y starter evolution Greninja gets the ability battle bond, which allows him to turn into his Ash-Greninja form, which originated in the Pokémon anime.

There have been loads of new features added to the games, these include a Chinese language both Simplified and Traditional, the brand-new and improved version of Pokémonamie, Pokémon riding, traditional gyms and elite four are expected to be replaced by island trials and island kahunas, Pokémon called Island deity along side Ultra-beasts, you can also battle old gym leaders once you become Alolan Champion, but not only that you can battle legends Red and Blue the two original Pokémon Masters, each Pokémon type will also get a new type of move called Z-Moves certain individual Pokémon such as Pikachu, Snorlax, and Eevee will receive their own special Z-Moves, and the final feature that has caught the eye of many is Pokémon from the original one-hundred fifty-one Pokémon have received new forms called Alolan forms. All these features have caught the eyes of Pokémon fans everywhere exciting them for the day the games are released.

The Pokémon Company Director Junichi Masuda has decided to step down from the directors chair. Masuda has been the director for the Pokémon for the last thirteen years his first games being Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire his last being Pokémon X and Y. The torch has officially been passed down to Shigeru Ohmori. This isn’t Ohmori’s first rodeo though, he was part of the art department in 2004 and he was also one of the story writers for the games from 2008 to 2013. Ohmori is the director now and Pokémon fans are happy that he has been on all sides from working with the art department, writing some of the best story lines, and now director for the newest installments in the Pokémon series Pokémon Sun and Moon.

The demo is only a short few days away, and with Sun & Moon demo on the horizon that means that the game is less than thirty days away, and Pokémon fans all over the world will rejoice, when this game is finally in their hands. If you’re anything like the biggest Pokémon fans out there you will get your pre-order done now so that Nov. 18 you can walk into GameStop and pick up the game with ease, and walk out to play one of the most anticipated games of 2016.
