Today the Panther tennis team is taking on Midlothian in the district playoffs to determine if the Panthers are going to go to regionals in Abilene, Texas. This match is putting the Panther’s playoff streak on the line. The tennis team has made it to regionals for the past fives years in a row.
“I’m very confident, very confident. Head Coach Trent Sellers said.

The Panthers are coming in to today’s match with a (16-5) record. Sophomore Gavin Beach is undefeated at the number one doubles spot and the number one singles spot for the year, while Jocelle Rudico is undefeated during district for the fourth straight year.

“It gives me confidence that I don’t have to worry about a couple of players and I know that they’ll do their job.” Sellers said. “That allows me to be able to focus on the other matches playing.”

The Panthers played Midlothian last week and won with a dominating score of (17-3). Come out and support the Panthers on to victory here at Duncanville at 3:30.
