KAGE hosts apollo showcase event for high school students Friday

KAGE Night
Friday, March 8, KAGE (Kingdom Advantage Generation Event) will host an Apollo Night Talent Showcase for the metroplex’s 9th-12th graders.

“The event is for kids to come in a positive environment and have fun” Allen Lockhart said.

Trying to provide a positive environment, KAGE’s Apollo night is hosting a talent showcase where any students who wish to participate can enter by themselves or as a group to sing, dance, rap, or display any talent they may have. Once the competition is over the top winner as chosen by judges will receive $500.  Second and third place acts will also win cash prizes although they won’t be as much.

“We are looking for a fun-filled night of excitement. A night just where students can see what it feels like to be in a positive environment” Lockhart said.

Hoping to provide plenty of entertainment, event planners have a DJ scheduled to appear along with possible appearances by some athletes. With all of these plans set-up, KAGE hopes that students will attend the event and enjoy themselves.

“It’s more than a program; it’s an experience” Lockhart said.
