Students are invited to showcase their poetry and enjoy the work of others in the upcoming Poetry Slam. The slam will be held in section D of the library from 3:15 to 4:15 pm on February 13.  Students who wish to perform must contact Mr. Roberts in B133.

“Poetry is a very special form of human expression,” Creative writing teacher Medgar Roberts said. “Unfortunately, there aren’t many opportunities to share poetry in school. The Poetry Slam provides an opportunity to share a form of communication that is unique, beautiful and says something special about who we are.”
