Students awarded for creativity in VASE competition
54 medals were awarded to Duncanville art students in the 2014 Visual Arts Scholastic Event held at Coppell High School on March 1. Five pieces will continue to state competition.
“It was a tremendous success,” Art teacher John Tahaney said. “It was the most students we have ever taken to contest. We believed we had a good chance to win some medals, but as the students kept getting medals, it was really amazing.”
