Students who wish to serve as a class or student council officer for the 2014-2015 school year begin their campaigns now. Important dates to take note of:
Today – March 28: Pick up candidate packets (B203, I110, or L106)
April 1 – 4 (tentative): Candidate interviews with the elected officers and advisors
April 9: Teacher recommendation forms and contracts due by 3:30 pm
April 9: MANDATORY candidate meeting in B203 at 7:10 am or 3:30 pm
April 21 – 24 (tentative): Online voting
April 25: Election results announced (candidate meeting after school)
May 7: Committee chair applications due
May 8: New student council officer meeting with Womack and Williams to select committee chairs
May 15 (tentative): Student Council banquet during which officers and committee chairs will be recognized and sworn in
