The annual teacher vs. student basketball game will take place this evening in Sandra Meadows from six to eight. Tickets will be five dollars at the door, and the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

“The teachers have been playing in the box gym every Wednesday since Christmas break,” Algebra II teacher Jay Walbran said. “We are ready!”

Walbran said the teachers have something else up their sleeve to help them pull off the win.

“To outmatch the energy and youth of our opponents, we are going to rely on experience,” Walbran said. “We also have 19 faculty on the roster, so no one will need to play more than five minutes at a time.”

Walbran encourages students to come out and witness what he hopes will be a victory for the teachers.

“This game is unlike any other,” said Walbran. “Young vs. old. Energy vs. experience. It should be exciting to watch the competition.”
