Students in the drama department will be hosting a their annual spring show called Deadly Ernest in the Black Box Theater for 5 dollars at 7 pm tonight through Friday.

Drama Department head Mrs. Guse said that the cast has a put a lot of work into the play and that it’s worth seeing.

“The cast is outstanding and have worked very hard to make this show a success,” Guse said.”It’s a fun way to spend an evening!”

Guse said the story is interesting.

“Henry Gilcrest is having a very bad day and he feels that life isn’t worth living,” Guse said. “He meets Mr. Bumpus who talks him into allowing Ernest to put him out of his misery for the small cost of $17.83. Little does Henry know that his luck is about to change! And little does he realize how many Ernests there are in the world!”

Overall she said the play has a good message that she hopes can be uplifting.

“It’s message is to never give up!” Guse said. ” You never know when your luck will change.”
