Junior Madison Cooper has been selected to serve as a Junior Counselor at the Texas Association of Student Councils for the Advanced leadership workshop later this month.

“ I hope to use this opportunity to inspire other kids that were like I use to be, to help them break out of their shell like I did.” Junior at Duncanville High School, Madison Cooper said.

Madison admits she  was a shy person her freshman year, so when she was asked by Mr. Womack to attend one of the TASC events she jumped at the opportunity. Since then Womack views Cooper as one of his top students always taking part in the conferences and other events.

“Madison is conscientious, organized, enthusiastic, follows through, hard working, and she’s not afraid to step out of her comfort zone or ask for help.” Student Council coordinator, Mr.Womack said.

This will be Cooper’s second time to be selected for this honor since her freshman year.
