Split is a box office success

Hollywood’s latest suspense thriller , “Split,” ran the box office bringing in $40.2 million. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan the movie had several trailers that had viewers on the edge of their seats before the movie was even out.

Actor James McAvoy portrays the man with many identities Kevin Crumb, and he played the part very well, and had audiences across the United States wowed by his performance. His counter part was played by actress Anya Taylor-Joy who played Casey Cook the lead female in trying to escape from Mr. Crumb. Betty Buckley plays the role of Dr. Karen Fletcher the doctor who treats people such as Kevin who have this disorder.

The movie revolves around a man with Dissociative Identity Disorder who captures three teenage girls. The girls try escaping but are meet with several obstacles. When they find out that this man had multiple personalities they try even harder to escape from him, and thats when things begin to turn, but you’ll have to watch the movie to find out why.

This movie is very easily understood, but there was a part at the end of the movie who had people like me confused. The movie alluded to the movie directed by Shyamalan in 2000, “Unbreakable.”

Shyamalan has really stepped his game up, after a few bad movies, but I think Split was the perfect way to rebound from those movies.
