Samples becomes winningest black coach in UIL History

Coach Samples became the winningest black coach in UIL History Friday with a win over his former team Skyline.
“I am just happy I have been able to coach such great kids along the way,” Samples said.
He said it is not about wins and losses it is about what happens with the whole athlete.
“I just want these guys to grow up to be the best young men they can,” Samples said.
