Can you stand the rain?

Despite an hour rain delay, the Duncanville Panthers advanced to the UIL 6A division one state championship this past Saturday against Prosper High School. It was a one-sided game with the score 41-0.

Caden Durham (29) scored 2 of his 3 total touchdowns in the second quarter setting the momentum for the offense. Then Keelon Russel (12) connected with Dakorien Moore (4) to further expand the lead. Jaqualin Armstrong (34) scored the final touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The defense shutdown Prosper’s offense. Vernon Grant (20) got an interception in the third quarter.

The Panthers will move on to the State Championship going against North Shore. This will be the fourth time competing against them in state.

Will this be the season that breaks their 0-3 record?
