Friday night the Panthers will face a 5-0 Mansfield after coming out of another wide margin win against Midlothian last Friday.
“Our early success is due to our kids being at practice everyday,” Coach Jeff Dicus said, “Our kids are gaining alot of confidence right now, offensively and special teams wise.”
The Panthers dominated Midlothian throughout and picked up a 51-13 win. They will need to continue their scoring rhythm if they wish to upset Mansfield and remain undefeated in district.
“We’ve got to take care of the football, thats been the big key for us over the last few weeks,” Dicus said. “We’re awfully anxious for the opportunity to show that we are a forreal football program, that we can beat a top 10 football program such as Mansfield.”
The Panthers should look to score early and maintain the lead throughout the game, which has lead them to be undefeated in district so far.
