Volleyball looks to get share of first against Mansfield tonight


Their record stands at 6-1, and they sit in second in district right behind Mansfield and tonight the volleyball team will have their opportunity to avenge their only loss tonight in Sandra Meadows Arena.
“ We have only lost once, but tonight we are going to get revenge,” Senior Tiara Iwegbu said.
Duncanville is not the same team as they were when they faced Mansfield. They have improved on defense and started serving more aggressively, and basically started playing together has a team.
“ We weren’t developed, and didn’t have good chemistry but we gained it in the long run,” senior Autumn Ellison said.
The Panthers come into tonight’s match very confident and determined to win tonight. If the Panthers win they will be tied for first place in district along with Mansfield.
“ We should have beat them the first time, but we are going to beat them today,” Ellison said.
