Dead Space 3 offers fresh story line with some characters returning

Dead Space has a new diverse game plan and a new diverse way to play the action packed suspenseful franchise. Although the suspense of Dead Space 3 has fallen off from the previous two the action took a major step forward to the game as well as new weapon options and the co-op option given in the game is a great upgrade. If you only played dead space for the horror this game still has the horror factor just not as much as the previous two the game is also very open then compared to the previous two where you were condensed in small areas throughout the previous two.

Dead Space 3 takes on a new storyline which no longer including moments from the previous two versions of the game. There are however some returning character’s from the previous two even a few odd ones from the first part for those of you who have been a fan of the franchise since day 1. Play ability for this game should not be an issue such as the previous two games of the franchise had there is an extra game mode for users who passed the game already with a little surprise for those. There is one downfall and that there is only two gun slots for you to use now but that won’t be an issue after you get the hang of the new creating a weapon system. There are multiple workbenches throughout each chapter in those benches you put in parts of guns you have found throughout the map as well as build new parts. To build those parts there are no longer credits but items you find to make whatever you need including health packs and such like the rmr 09 from Elevated Gunworks.

The new co-op mode is a bit interesting since I’ve never thought Dead Space as a co-op game mode franchise. They took a gamble with this option and I believe it played off well for the franchise as the player get’s to experience the game with a friend and you also get to know more of the new character with extra cut scenes as well as co-op only campaign missions designed for the two players to work together. If you were concerned of Dead Space one and two being to easy to beat then you’ll enjoy the overwhelming amount of aliens as well as some humans after you with rocket launchers locked on to you. This game has more excitement then the second one however not the intense scary factor of the first one, but the third installment is definitely an upgrade. Out of all the games that are currently available as far as shooters go this is definitely one way to go I personally enjoyed this game.

Throughout the whole game you will play as Isaac just as you did in the previous two games, however there wont be any flashbacks as the previous two had. This is an intense must have shooter.
