With the election for next year’s class officers occurring this week, Duncanville High School students will experience voting online for the first time.

“I’m really excited about this new method,” junior Jenine Hamed said. “I think it will be interesting to see how everything goes.”

In order to complete the voting process, students will be allowed to vote from any computer or use a QR code on their smartphones. Through this process, students will be given login information which will allow them to vote only once for the candidates for their grade level. Students will be able to vote until March 29 at midnight. Student can vote directly here. or scan the  QR Code at the bottom of this post.

If this process proves to be successful, the school plans on using the same process for other elections including prom and homecoming court next year.
